Project Brief: To fulfill Honors credits for ART 342 (Graphic Design 2), I was tasked with creating a research compendium for students to refer to while conducting research for future projects.
Strategy: I landed on the name “Lightbulb!” because the visual imagery of a lightbulb represents having an idea. Paired with this icon, I chose bright colors and an easy-to-read typeface so that a student would feel compelled to view it. "Lightbulb!" leads the student through an example project, named "Project X" and teaches on how to conduct proper research and use that research within their creative projects. Each student in the class received a digital pdf to keep and use.
