Project Brief: Donut Hole, a local bakery native to the Florida panhandle, was in need of a website to call their own. Prior, all that existed was a website made by a dedicated community member.
Strategy: Donut Hole bustles in both local residents of the area and tourists through its doors and holds a high reputation amongst their customers. Each establishment has a Southern charm to it that I wanted to replicate in the new website. So, I selected a delicate script typeface for the headers to pay homage to that aspect of the physical building. For the body text, a more modern sans-serif was chosen to balance the script out. I decided to stay relatively close to the establishment's current color palette, an array of blues.
