Project Brief: Advertising campaign was needed for products that don't generally catch anyone's attention. I was assigned Glad's Cling N' Seal.
Strategy: A survey was made to see what I was working with as far as public opinion of Cling N' Seal goes. After reviewing survey results, it was clear that my target demographic was young adults (18-25) because they tended to not use Cling N' Seal and many had a negative opinion of Cling N' Seal. The goal at this point was to appeal to a younger generation and make a reason why they should buy this product. I chose to hand-make three clothing items and use a trendy approach to the photoshoot. The double entendre of the word "Fresh" was also used in this series. 80s-Present Slang, "Fresh" means cool or trendy. Fresh also connected to the actual goal that Cling N' Seal accomplishes: keeping your food fresh. Appx. 350 square feet of cling wrap was used to make the clothing.
This poster series was accepted to Middle Tennessee State University's Collegiate Art Competition, and placed 3rd in Jacksonville State University's Annual Student Show. It was also presented at Jacksonville State University's Student Symposium.
